"Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death-even death on a cross!

Dear Students,
Welcome back! I missed you over the break! I hope you and your families had a very blessed Thanksgiving! Can you believe it's already December? I'm looking forward to a great week with you!

Christmas Program
Next Tuesday is the Preschool/Grade School Christmas program. This week we will be reviewing the songs in class as well as memorizing Phillipians 2:5-11. Parts were given out before break and are posted outside the classroom.

Fun Field Trip
We had so much fun on our field trip to the zoo! Getting to see animals we had been studying in science up close and personal was a blast! The students were able to take notes and share interesting facts they had learned throughout the day. I want to send out a big THANK YOU to all the parents who were willing to drive and chaperone! :


Christmas Cards for our Soldiers
We have access to about 100 Christmas cards and the 5th grade will be in charge of passing them out to other students in the school who want to send a Christmas greeting to a soldier. If you have boxes of cards you are not going to use, please feel free to send them with your child and we will find use for them!

Q. What is your favorite movie?
A. My favorite movie is Kung Fu Panda. I like it because it has to do with kung fu and there's a panda in it. His name is Po. I think the movie is very funny.
