FIELD TRIP
Next Tuesday, December 9th, we will hopefully be visiting
the Freeman Diversion Dam in Saticoy. Although this may not sound too
exciting for many, it is a FREE trip with a lot of information about
our county's water supply. Right now, I am asking for drivers. Two parents
have graciously signed up, but we need more. If you are available that
day from about 8:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and wouldn't mind joining us,
PLEASE sign up in our classroom immediately. If we do not get enough
drivers by this Wednesday at 2:50 p.m., I will need to cancel the trip.
With that said, I will wait until Wednesday to send home permission
slips, if need be.
SCRIPTURE WALL TILE
As a fellow PVCS parent, I am assuming you all have received, as well,
a letter from the P.I.E. board concerning the Scripture Wall. I am excited
to see it come to completion next spring, but will be even more excited
if it is completely filled in with God's Word. As I mentioned before
Thanksgiving break, I would like our class to purchase an 8x8 tile on
the cross now in honor of the Class of 2010. I sent home envelopes
before break that you could use to return the $10.00 contribution from
each student (please send in either cash or a check payable to PVCS
with 7th grade class tile in the memo). I would like to get all
money in by this Friday, so I am offering EXTRA CREDIT for those who
bring it in before then. The class will decide together on a verse before
we go to Christmas break.
