"Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong. Let all that you do be done with love."

I Corin. 16:13-14

The Apostle Paul gives this exhortation to the Corinthians. He urges those in the Christian faith to be alert, firm, mature, strong and loving. These words apply to us, as well, as we live out our faith in our families, our school, with our neighbors, and in our churches.

God bless you and keep you all. May you enjoy peace and rest during these upcoming summer months. Thank you for a wonderful year!

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13

An Honoring Day
Grandparents' Day was, again, very special this year! Our dear, wise, worthy grandparents and grandparents by "heart" blessed all of us as we reached out to honor them. It was a beautiful day from start to finish!

Mrs. April McHaney and Mrs. Sharyl Priest, who planned the magnificent morning, wish to thank their exceptional volunteers. From the meaningful keepsake books, donated strawberries, Starbucks coffee, elegant decorations, lovely brunch, to the biblical, patriotic chapel, the day was memorable. The cheerleaders, as well, wowed the audience. The day was perfect, indeed. Many of the guests took the time to express their gratitude and plans to come next year. What a privilege for our school.

Thank you so much for the caring and excellence which made this day so special. Our parents are the best!

Scripture Wall Tiles Arriving Any Day
Many families have inquired about the status of the Scripture Wall. We hoped to have it installed by the end of this school year; however, we are still waiting for the tiles to be delivered. We are anxious, poised and ready to install the tiles as soon as they arrive. As you know, it is a huge project and there has been much care in insuring accuracy. We look forward to an amazing, God-honoring finished project!

Come and Cheer for Our Lion Cheer Team
Many students and parents have wanted to see our State Champion Cheerleaders in person. Well, now you can! Everyone, meet in the PVCS gym on Monday, June 7 at 8:45 to see the girls perform for their final time this school year. They have worked very hard to achieve such high levels of success. Plan to join us for their last exhibition. It will be a great kick off for Field Day.

PIE Offices Open
We're grateful for the volunteer efforts of our PIE Board and all of our class reps this year. The students were able to benefit from some terrific opportunities such as Career Day, Science Night, Day with an Author, Jog-A-Thon and Grandparents' Day. The teachers were blessed with classroom "extras" from fundraisers. The recent contribution of a document camera and Power Lite Projector Multimedia will open new innovative teaching techniques. We are all very appreciative of the family efforts it takes to bring opportunities and additions to the students and staff.

There are some openings available for service on next year's PIE board. If you would like to have more information, please contact Jessica Rebbe or any Board member. You can also stop by and leave your name in the school office.

Votes Count!
What a freedom we all have in the form of our vote. Please exercise your right on Tuesday, June 8. It has never been more important to use your vote as a voice in our state and in our country.

I know that the Lord is always on the side of right. But it is my constant anxiety and prayer that I and this nation should be on the Lord's side. -- Abraham Lincoln

"…If my people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."
II Chron. 7:14
