For children to experience positive play both
individually and with peers.
To encourage activity while discouraging negative
play activities
To help the children function as a member
of a group and gain an awareness of the value of independence.
To
help the children develop emotionally, developing self-control and
self-discipline.
To prepare an environment for children to
learn through active exploration and interaction.
To help the children develop a positive self-image.
To
give children who are ready to read opportunities to learn to read
in Kindergarten. To teach and encourage a love for reading in the
primary grades. To help comprehension skills, promote language development,
and expression.
To teach math through exploration, discovery,
and solving meaningful problems.
To give "hands on" experience in science
and stimulate excitement about the world around us.
To
develop and enhance gross motor skills
Help
develop fine motor skills and coordination to help promote writing,
reading, and math skills.
To give children who are ready to write opportunities
to do so.
Our desire is that these children receive quality
teaching and learning experiences in an atmosphere of security, warmth
and Christian care. We will provide a Biblical base in all we do.
